There’s a new café opened at The Villa at Singapore Botanic Gardens and that’s Halia Pantry. The new casual flagship of The Halia, Halia Pantry is a family-friendly, quick and easy eatery for you to enjoy when taking a break or gearing up to explore the Botanic Gardens.
The halal-certified outlet requires no reservations and has no service charge as it’s a self-order restaurant. Grab and go or sit and relax tucking into Halia Pantry’s signature foods like grilled beef burger, Wagyu quesadilla, chilli crab spaghettini and truffle fries. There is a pizza dining counter where you can see your hand-tossed pizzas made to order. When you’ve finished all your main meals and sides, treat yourself to Halia Pantry’s desserts like ginger meringue tart or chocolate tart.
Take-away option
Halia Pantry also has a take-away service where you can grab freshly baked breads and pastries. This quick service kiosk serves those wanting a picnic in the gardens or a grab and go option. Expect daily fresh bakes like the chilli crab bun and the ever-popular onion and cheese bun. Ice cream, cakes, and both hot and cold beverages are also available.
Eco-friendly crockery
Standing out from the crowd, Halia Pantry uses eco-friendly disposable “Fallen Leaves” tableware, created by using naturally shed leaves of the Areca palm tree so no trees are cut down. The leaves are cleaned, heat-pressed and moulded into various shapes and sizes using no chemicals. After use, they are easily composted. This is Halia’s Pantry first step towards a greener way of service and we are here for it.
