Charlie’s Peranakan Food is one of only two places left in Singapore where you can still find the Cantonese heritage dish lor kai yik – chicken wings and offal braised with red yeast rice. Other must-try dishes include babi assam ($12), beef rendang ($13), and ayam buah keluak ($13), all prepared from traditional Peranakan recipes passed down from the owner’s mother.
