Punggol just got a lot cooler with a brand new hawker centre to its name. Punggol Coast Hawker Centre is the latest addition to Singapore’s ever-growing hawker scene, and it’s already drawing a steady crowd. The 600-seater food centre is breezy and spacious, and not to mention, parked right next to the new Punggol Coast Mall and MRT. It’s also conveniently connected to Punggol Digital District, making it a no-brainer for quick and easy lunches around the area. To its credit, it’s got plenty of food stalls – 40 to be exact – that warrant a trip down to the far North-East too. Think Michelin-studded names, old-school favourites, and even stalls by young hawkers selling creative takes on traditional snacks like curry puff and min jiang kueh.
