7879 Gallery & Clayworks

Desker Road in Little India has been blossoming with art tours, French bistros, and gelato shops – and a welcome addition to the street is pottery studio 7879 Gallery & Clayworks. As the name suggests, it is both an exhibition space and ceramic art studio. In the front, browse clay artworks created by ceramic artists from Southeast Asia. Belying its humble facade, the studio runs programmes and collaborations with a good number of artists and institutions around the region. And for aspiring ceramic artists, 7879 Gallery & Clayworks has a studio space in the back where intimately-sized lessons are run.
