On Pause’s menu features the typical brunch fare, but a standout is the portobello pesto sammie ($17) consisting of portobello mushrooms, pistachio pesto sauce, avocado, and sauteed onions tied together with gooey mozzarella and cheddar cheese and sandwiched between housemade milk buns. You can also find grilled cheese and tomato soup ($16), prawn and guac tartine ($18), and Greek yoghurt granola bowls ($10.50) on the menu.
Finish your meal with a scoop of artisanal gelato (from $4.50), with flavours like Thai milk tea, Belgian dark chocolate, and Sicilian pistachio. For a more indulgent dessert, have a fluffy waffle ($7) with your ice cream, or opt for a creamy vanilla or chocolate milkshake to beat the heat. On Pause also offers bakes like espresso marble cakes and banana chocolate bread if you’re looking to have a light snack.
Although there are no pet menus available at On Pause, the café sells gourmet pet treats from Four Paws Pantry such as Bork Kwa biscuits ($10.50), strawberry gummies ($12.80), and ondeh ondeh ($12.80) that your furkids can feast on while you enjoy your meal.
