Dig into light and airy soufflé pancakes at XO Café, a newly-opened café located at Viva Vista Shopping Mall. The small, cosy café serves soufflé pancakes in four flavours (from $8), such as plain, matcha, chocolate, and a seasonal flavour. For now, you can get tiramisu soufflé pancakes ($10), consisting of three pancakes topped with a fluffy mascarpone cream and dusted with cocoa powder. The pancakes come with a separate shot of espresso, so feel free to control how strong you want the coffee taste to be.
Besides soufflé pancakes, look forward to rich and indulgent smores cookies (from $4.80). These cookies also come in four flavours: red velvet cream cheese, matcha, biscoff, and chocolate chip. For a more indulgent experience, pair them with XO Café’s 70% dark chocolate ($6) – it’s a lot of calories, but we promise it’s worth it.
